It certainly doesn’t feel like November but here we are. Fall has flown by & winter is right around the corner. We hope you are enjoying your time with us as much as love teaching your kiddos!

ADULT BALLET WORKSHOP
We are starting our second Adult Dance Workshop THIS WEEK!! This is a 4 week workshop that meets on Thursdays from 7-8pm with the amazing Miss Lindsey! The class is only $55 & will meet on November 4th, 11th, 18th & December 3rd. This workshop is for the beginner level dancer or someone that just wants to brush up on their dance skills. You can enroll through the Parent Portal by adding yourself as a student & searching for the class. It will be TONS of FUN and is the perfect way to keep your body moving during the holiday season! Space is limited with a minimum of 5 dancers.
COSTUME MEASURING WEEK
This week – November 1st-5th is Costume Measuring Week. Teachers will be taking a chunk of class time to get measurements for our Spring Recital costumes. We normally send & post photos of the costumes before the payment deadline but with the global shipping issues, it has been suggested that we have multiple options of costumes in case some won’t arrive in time. We would hate to post a photo of a costume and have you receive something different. Instead, we will be posting on the bulletin board & sending an email of the Waldo scene that each class will represent. Next week – November 8th-12th – parents will need to sign off on sizes. You can sign off on sizes in the office with Tavja either before class or after. We will not order a costume unless you approve of the sizing. This way we are all on the same page before we begin purchasing. Costume Payment Deadline = November 15th
ONSIE SPIRIT WEEK – November 15th-19th
This months theme is ONSIE which means you can send your dancer to class in their pajamas – if they have a onsie, even better! How fun is that?? Spirit Week will be November 15th-19th. Please make sure that the basic dress code rules still apply: hair pulled back, appropriate shoes, no midriff or bottom showing, leggings or shorts under pajama dresses. Each class will have a quick craft project to do the last 5 min & our spirit wall will be decorated per usual!
COSTUME PAYMENT DEADLINE – Monday, November 15th, 2021
Costumes are a huge endeavor (time, effort & money) but they are so worth it at the end of the year when they shine on stage at our show. Please help us by making sure you sign off on all costumes sizes!! This makes our process easier & helps us get our part of the equation completed faster. We have to order before the end of this month to ensure that we get the majority of our costumes before June. I know that seems crazy but if you think about it – every studio across the country has their recital at the same time plus everyone knows about the shipping issues at the moment. Last year we barely got some costumes before our recital. This is why we need to order early & why there is a $20 charge for late payments. Thanks so much for understanding!!
FALL BREAK
Fall Break is coming up! We will be CLOSED for the week of November 22nd-26th. We hope you get some good rest & relaxation during this break & that you can safely celebrate Thanksgiving!
PERFORMANCE COMPANY FUNDRAISERS
The company kids will be selling cinnamon rolls again this year for their November FUNdraiser. Cinnamon rolls come pre-packaged & frozen. They will arrive before our Winter Break, in time for family over the holidays. If you are interested in purchasing, please check out our Facebook page to order or reach out to a company member.
Our Performance Company is always looking for fun performance opportunities. We will begin working on our Christmas Show and would love to perform for you or your company Christmas party! If you are interested in having some FUN entertainment from adorable children & teens, let me know! This will be a Fundraiser for the kids plus a fun time to show off their skills!
LATE PAYMENTS
We understand that automatic payments don’t always go through. We will however be assessing a $30 NSF fee if account balances aren’t paid by the 5th business day of the month. We will continue to communicate any issues from our end & appreciate you taking care of them as soon as possible.
