October Update

How are you? I hope that the fall is treating you well. 🙂
We have a bunch of exciting things on the horizon that I want to share with you. I intend to do updates at least once a month but this month has gotten away from me. LOTS of things happening!
MONTANA DANCE ARTS ASSOCIATION
This weekend the Company & a few extra students, parent chaperones, Miss Tara, Tavja & I will be traveling to Butte for the annual MDAA Fall Workshop. We are highly involved in this organization as it is an awesome non-profit focused on bringing dance to the children of Montana. I am the Secretary on the board & both Tavja and I are responsible for organizing this workshop. Phew! That being said, you may see substitutes in Thursday & Friday classes and the following classes have been canceled: Tap 3/4, Ballet 3/4 (Friday) & Pointe. Both Tav and I will be in Butte but if you need to reach us for any reason, please shoot a text or call the studio phone. 406.546.7567
COSTUME SPIRIT WEEK
October 29th-November 1st is our 1st annual Costume Spirit Week and my personal favorite week of the year!! Please wear a costume to class that you can move in! It can be anything as long as no weapon accessories are included. 😉 We will be having a little party at the end of each class with treats. If you would like to bring a snack or treat, we ask that you don’t bring anything with nuts. If your child has a food intolerance or allergies, please let us know!!
HALLOWEEN PERFORMANCE
Studio M dancers are the official performance group for the Southgate Mall! Yay! We have an upcoming Halloween performance that we would love you to participate in. If your student is 6yrs and up, we would love to have them dance with our Company kids. Rehearsals will take place on Friday October 25th & Saturday October 26th – times TBD. There is a $20 performance fee associated with this performance. The performance will take place on Thursday – October 31st at 7pm in Southgate Mall. Please let us know if you are interested!!
