IT’S RECITAL MONTH!!!
We have SOOOOO MUCH happening at the studio in the next few weeks so PLEASE read to the end so you have all of the information. Also, you will continue to receive an email a week from us this month so please be sure to read all of them!!

STUDENT ASSESSMENTS/SEASON 6 SCHEDULE
Student Assessments are on their way!! Each family will receive an email with a link to their dancer’s Student Assessment(s) for Season 5. This is a helpful tool that can inform you on what your dancer needs to work on plus it will have our recommendations for what class/classes your student should take next season. We will include the Season 6 schedule plus the class descriptions so you are fully prepared for our VIP registration on May 31st, 12-4pm. Reminder that you will receive a $20 credit on your account if you register during this time frame. Classes are SURE to fill so don’t miss out on the ideal schedule for your family!
COSTUME PHOTO WEEK
Recital Costume Photo Week is THIS WEEK – May 6th-10th. Jason Tupeck Photography will be doing our recital photos. Please be sure to read through all of the information below. Full class group photos will be distributed to all students & individual shots can be purchased via a photo package. The full class photo fee of $20/dancer was pulled automatically with your recital fee on May 1st. You can purchase your individual photo packet via the Parent Portal by choosing Classes/Events in the upper right corner of your dashboard. Please purchase your photos BEFORE your dancer’s photo time so we can be as organized as possible. Photo packet registration is open now.

Costume Photo Week will also serve as our first Dress Rehearsal. Classes will perform for each other with the mirrors covered so it’s more like the real thing. Please be sure that your child comes to class in their costume, with proper tights, shoes & specific hair. Please plan for your dancer to be at the studio for at least 1hr. We will try to get the youngest dancers done right at the top of the hour while the older dancers may stay the entire hour and a half. The Photo Week Schedule will be slightly different than your normal dance schedule so please double check timing.

RECITAL TICKETS
Recital tickets are ON SALE NOW!! We use a 3rd party vendor for ticket sales called Tutu Tix which makes purchasing tickets so much easier for everyone! As of May 1st, tickets are $18 plus fees and will be selected seats not general admission. Children under 3 can sit on a lap. Tickets are exchangeable but NOT REFUNDABLE so please pay close attention to the date of the tickets you are purchasing. Any and all ticketing questions will go through Tutu Tix after purchase. STUDIO M DAY – May 11th; 12-2pm
Please join us for an awesome Season 5 Celebration!! Saturday – May 11th, 12-2pm we will be having an outdoor (fingers crossed for good weather) party and we want your family to attend! Don’t miss out on pizza, crafts, dances, games & SO MUCH FUN! Plus, you will be able to grab your recital tank top!! Let us show you our appreciation before we SOAR into the end of the season!

We have created a handy QR code with the recital season calendar plus all schedules & show orders. If you open the attached PDF & scan it with your phone, you can have all of the most IMPORTANT information at the tip of your fingers…on your phone!! We will also post this around the studio if it’s easier for you to scan it that way.

ALL STUDIO REHEARSALS – May 14th, May 15th & May 16th
All Studio Rehearsal Week is our first run of the show & an awesome time for dancers to see all of the other numbers. Each show will be run from beginning to end on one day: May 14th: Experience 1; May 15th: Experience 2; May 16th: Experience 3. Please note that the DAY & TIME will likely be different than their normal class times. We ask that all classes (except Tots & Littles) stay through the entirety of their rehearsal block so they can participate as the audience when they aren’t dancing. Tots & Littles will be excused as soon as they are done performing.

FINALE REHEARSAL – May 17th; 4:30pm-6:30pm
All dancers level Combo (6-10yrs) and above are invited to participate in the finale. We will be having a Finale Rehearsal on May 17th from 4:30-6:30pm. There is no extra fee to be involved & no specific costume as they will wear their normal class costume. Dancers will learn the choreography on this day & then there will be a rehearsal each night of the show to stage this number. The finale is SUPER FUN & we hope to get as many kids to participate as possible!!
Upcoming…
COMPANY AUDITIONS – SEASON 6: We will be casting our Season 6 Company on May 30th, 4:30pm-6:30pm at the studio. If your dancer is 9yrs old or will be turning 9 in the first semester, this will be a fun opportunity to perform locally! An informational parents meeting will take place on May 28th from 5:30-6:30pm. We hope you can make it! It’s going to be a fantastic season full of FUN!!
