TWINNING SPIRIT WEEK & FOOD DRIVE – November 13th-17th
This month’s theme is TWINNING which means we will be seeing multiple all week! Depending on the size of your dancer’s class, they may be eligible to BRING-A-FRIEND to dance!! If their class is full, there will be a studio wide color match so they can be twins with all other dancers in the studio that day. How fun is that?? We will be sending individual class emails next week with more details. Spirit Week will be November 13th-17th. Please make sure that the basic dress code rules still apply: hair pulled back, appropriate shoes, no midriff or bottom showing, leggings or shorts if wearing a skirt or dresses. Each class will have a quick craft project to do the last 5 min & our spirit wall will be decorated per usual!
Studio M enjoys being involved in our community so we have decided to incorporate a food drive with our November Spirit Week again this year! We will donate all canned goods to the Missoula Food Bank at the end of the week. The class that brings the most items will win a cupcake party!
ADULT JAZZ WORKSHOP
We will be starting our second Adult Dance Workshop at the end of the month – November 28th!! This is a 4 week workshop that meets on Tuesdays from 7:30-8:30pm with Miss Caroline! The workshop is only $60 & will meet on November 28th & December 5th, 12th & 19th. This workshop is for the beginner/intermediate level dancer or someone that just wants to brush up on their dance skills. If you don’t have Jazz shoes, don’t worry, you can borrow what we have or go barefoot. You can enroll through the Parent Portal by adding yourself as a student & searching for the class. It will be TONS of FUN and is the perfect way to keep your body moving during the holiday season! Registration opens on the 14th! Space is limited with a minimum of 5 dancers.
STUDIO M SHOP
If you are in need of a nude leotard or any dance gear for upcoming shows, please stop by the dance shop & get your orders in ASAP so we can make sure you get them on time! Deadline to order is November 11th.
Adults – we will be hosting our second annual SIP & SHOP in December. This will be a fun mixer for you to meet other dance parents & get some limited edition Studio M gear too! Stay tuned for more details…
FALL BREAK
Fall Break is coming up! We will be CLOSED for the week of November 20th-24th. We hope you get some good rest & relaxation during this break & that you can safely celebrate Thanksgiving!
MCT’S RUDOLPH
If want a little Christmas nostalgia in your world this holiday season, you will not want to miss MCT’s production of the classic Claymation Rudolph! We have many Studio M Stars in the production as well as choreography by Miss Meagen & overall direction by Miss Abigail! It’s so fun to be involved in our local community theatre & we hope you LOVE this super cute production as much as we have loved creating it! Tickets are on sale now & the show opens at the end of November.
GARDEN CITY BALLET’S THE NUTRACKER
Another of our favorite Holiday traditions, is the annual community production of the Nutcracker. The show isn’t until December but tickets are on sale now! Grab them quick as they typically sell out. You won’t want to miss the plethora of Studio M Stars perform their hearts out on stage in this iconic show!
PERFORMANCE COMPANY FUNDRAISERS
The company kids are selling cinnamon rolls again this year for one of their November FUNdraisers. Cinnamon rolls come pre-packaged & frozen. They will arrive before our Winter Break, in time for family over the holidays. If you are interested in purchasing, please check out our Facebook page to order or reach out to a company member.
Golden Leaf Boutique is also helping us raise funds with a custom gifting catalogue. Find a Company member to order the best Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers around!
Our Performance Company is always looking for fun performance opportunities. We will begin working on our Christmas Show and would love to perform for you or your company Christmas party! If you are interested in having some FUN entertainment from adorable children & teens, let me know! This will be a Fundraiser for the kids plus a fun time to show off their skills!
MY BUDDY & ME
We are SUPER EXCITED to bring back our MY BUDDY & ME workshops in 2024! We will have two sessions & will be releasing dates next month in the December Happenings email. This is a 4 week workshop for 18months -2yrs old movers that meets one day a week in the morning. This 30 minute creative movement class will teach a concept through props & developmentally appropriate dance. It’s a fun way to get your tiny dancer moving & learning at the same time! Grownups get to dance with their little buddies too! YAY!!
LATE PAYMENTS
We understand that automatic payments don’t always go through. We will however assess a $30 NSF fee if account balances aren’t paid by the 5th business day of the month. We will continue to communicate any issues from our end & appreciate you taking care of them as soon as possible.

COMING UP…
- COMPANY CHRISTMAS WRAPPING: Let our Company elves (and their parents) wrap your presents!! They will be set up at the mall from November 24th-December 23rd. For more information, contact Hallie Lopuch at [email protected].
- SIP & SHOP SUNDAY FUNDAY with Studio M!! We will be hosting our second mingle & shop party for the adults of Studio M in December. Stay tuned for more information!
- NORTH POLE & FAMILY VIEWING WEEK: Our December spirit week & invitation to families to join class via Zoom or for the last 10-15min in person will be December 11th-15th.
- WINTER BREAK: The studio will be closed December 18th-January 7th.
