November Updates

Hello Studio M!

It’s November! I hope this finds you warm & ready for winter. 🙂 This month is just as busy as last month so please read on for your November update…

COSTUME MEASURING WEEK & FEES

Costume measuring week has begun!!! We measure an extra two inches for growth as the recital is so far away. Your student will be measured during class and you will be required to sign off on their size. We will not order a costume until parents approve of the size. If you haven’t signed off by the time the first order takes place – November 25th – you will be charged a $20 late fee.

You will see a costume charge for every class your student takes in your Parent Portal this week. The recital costume fees are as follows: Tots, Littles, Combos = $60; Level 1/2, Level 3/4, Contemporary & Pointe = $70. Those fees will be pulled from the card on file November 15th. If you know for certain that your child will not be here for recital, you will need to let us know before November 15th. There are no refunds or returns on recital costumes once ordered. Costume fees INCLUDE tights.

RECITAL DATES

The good news is that we booked the Dennison Theater!! Yay! Unfortunately, our recital dates have changed because the theater double booked themselves. We will now be having recital the first week of June. Rehearsals will be on Tuesday June 2nd & 3rd and our show will be on June 4th. We have decided to do just one big show instead of multiple as the theater is much larger than what we are used to. We understand this is one of the last weeks of the school year. We try our best to accommodate for other activities as much as we can so we don’t create too much of a scheduling conflict. Know we have done our absolute best in trying to schedule the recital for what works with the school calendar, holiday weekends & our students. 😉

SPIRIT WEEK

We have another spirit week coming up! November 19th-22nd will be our Sleepover Spirit Week. These means you should wear your most comfy pj’s and bring your favorite stuffed animal. Please be sure to have appropriate footwear and your hair pulled back.

THE COMPANY PERFORMANCE

Studio M’s Performance Company will be welcoming Santa to the mall on November 22nd at 6pm. Please come cheer them on and get your photo taken with Mr. Claus. 🙂

FALL BREAK

The studio will be closed for our Fall Break the week of November 26th-29th. Enjoy some rest and relaxation, football, parades & lots of Turkey! 😉

DAYLIGHT SAVINGS

Is a drag, right?! Ugh. With the evenings being much darker, please make an effort to come into the building to pick up your student. We don’t want any kiddos wandering around in the dark looking for their rides. 🙂
